The analytical agency U.S. News has published its annual rating of the world's strongest armies, in which the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation took the first place. The agency's experts praised the combat experience gained by the Russian military during the military operations in Ukraine.
The U.S. Army, which had previously held the first place in the rating, dropped to the second position. U.S. News analysts attribute this to the lack of experience of the U.S. military in conducting combat operations against technologically advanced opponents in a full-scale conflict.
The Israeli army made a significant leap in the rating, moving up to the third position. The high ranking is due to the technological superiority of the Israeli army and its extensive experience in conducting military operations.
China retained the fourth place, South Korea - the fifth. Iran moved up to sixth place, while the UK dropped to seventh.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine, demonstrating courage and resilience in confronting Russian troops, ranked eighth. Ukraine is followed by Germany (9th place) and Turkey (10th place).
Uzbekistan's significant progress in defence attracted close attention of analysts. The country ranked 19th, its highest ever ranking by U.S. News.
