Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic called to prepare for a major armed conflict, "which will involve the entire West and East", Tengrinews.kz reports with reference to RIA Novosti.
According to the Serbian president, this is indicated by the confrontation between Hezbollah and Israel in the Middle East, the choice of anti-Russian former Estonian Prime Minister Kaija Kallas to head EU diplomacy, as well as the purchase of weapons by Western and Eastern states.
According to Vucic, it is almost impossible to avoid a large-scale armed clash between Lebanon's Hezbollah movement and Israel, which would lead to a major conflict.
"There is no big philosophy here, these are clear, clear, unambiguous things. And when we talk about what is happening in Europe - you get a European Commission that will be radically anti-Russian instead of the previous one that was clearly anti-Russian. You get a person with whom I believe we can establish good cooperation, it's our job and duty - Ms. Kallas from Estonia, who is banned from entering the Russian Federation. In other words, they are choosing a person who will not be able to enter the territory of the Russian Federation for the next 4-5 years," Serbian President said on TV Prva on Sunday.
According to him, this is an unambiguous signal, "the EU will tell you that this is a signal of firmness, strength, resistance to Russian aggression and that there is no compromise."
"And what the Russians will say to this: we understand you, you want us to disappear, we will fight to the end with all available forces, all the weapons and tools we have, and that's it. Needless to say, I know the situation regarding weapons, I receive information from the Military Intelligence Agency, the Security and Information Agency and all sister intelligence services, how who is preparing and what is happening," the Serbian leader said.
Vucic recalled that when in Chekhov's play "in the first act there is a gun hanging on the wall, in the third act it will go off."
