Protesters in Tbilisi brought a real coffin with an effigy of Georgian Dream founder Bidzina Ivanishvili to the parliament, which was later set on fire, a RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
Protesters gathered again on Rustaveli Avenue in the center of Tbilisi in front of the Georgian parliament building, this is the 12th night in a row.
Another series of opposition protests began in Georgia on November 28, after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced a decision to suspend consideration of the start of negotiations on the country's membership in the European Union until 2028. The protesters are using firecrackers, stones, bottles, and Molotov cocktail bottles found at the scene of pogroms. Law enforcers responded by using special equipment, including water cannons.
