Georgia's SGB says possible leak of “fake dirt” on Georgian Dream

In the coming days, Georgia may leak “fake dirt” on the ruling party created with the help of AI, the State Security Service said today.

The GSS notifies that the recordings will use voices and video images of Georgian authorities' representatives.

“The purpose of spreading false information is to provoke conflicts between branches of power, to cause tension between the authorities and the Orthodox Church, as well as to worsen relations between the authorities and Western partners. The main goal is to artificially create protest moods and pockets of destabilization,” the - the statement reads.

The SGB wrote nothing about the fact that several AI-created fake videos of opposition politicians had previously circulated on social media.
