The Central Bank of Armenia has reduced the key rate by 0.25% to 7.25%. The decision was made at today's meeting of the Central Bank Council.
Accordingly, the rates at which commercial banks make deposits and raise loans with the Central Bank were reduced (5.75% and 8.75% respectively).
The Central Bank continues to lower the rate as inflation - and most importantly, its expectations in Armenia - remain low.
