Bidzina Ivanishvili reiterated all the old and new theses of the Georgian Dream at the pre-election meeting in Ambrolauri last Sunday, especially focusing on the fate of the United National Movement.
All leaders of the ruling party came to the meeting. Ivanishvili again spoke from a separate podium behind armored glass, against the background of a huge halo of rays and golden stars.
The ruling party must take a constitutional majority in the parliamentary elections because it needs to finally “save Georgia” from the UNM, the honorary chairman and founder of Dream said.
According to him, “the removal of the National Movement from Georgian politics is vital for the improvement of Georgia's political system.”
Ivanishvili also announced that the destruction of UNM is the order of the people.
“After the completion of the elections and receiving high legitimacy from the Georgian people, a process will begin, which will end with a trial and severe punishment of the criminals!” - Ivanishvili said.
Earlier, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced a list of parties that Georgian Dream considers criminals and the “collective National Movement” - these are all major opposition associations.
