European Peace Foundation's support to Armenia will start on November 18.
Armenpress reports that RA Deputy Foreign Minister Paruyr Hovhannisyan said this at the joint sitting of the NA Standing Committees during the preliminary discussion of the draft law on the state budget for 2025.
“The works on assistance to Armenia through the European Instrument for Peace will start on November 18,” Hovhannisyan said.
In July 2024, the EU decided for the first time to provide Armenia with 10 million euros from the European Peace Facility. The aim of the assistance provided to the Republic of Armenia is to improve the material and technical capabilities of the Armenian Armed Forces and increase the protection of civilians in crisis and emergency situations.
