The Government of Kazakhstan has allocated 9 billion tenge for the construction and reconstruction of heating networks in Pavlodar, Ekibastuz and Aksu, Zakon.kz reports.
As reported in the press service of the government on June 12, 2024, the average wear and tear of networks in these cities is from 59 to 90%.
“In pursuance of the instructions of the head of state on the comprehensive modernization of housing and communal infrastructure, Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov signed a decree on the allocation of 9 billion tenge from the government reserve for the construction and reconstruction of heating networks in Pavlodar, Ekibastuz and Aksu,” the report said.
Heat main TM-13 with the length of 2.5 km in Pavlodar (3.6 billion tenge) will be built. This will provide stable heat supply to apartment buildings in the area of Pavlova - Shevchenko - Kataev streets, where 41.5 thousand people live.
In Ekibastuz the reconstruction of sections of heating mains TM-1 and TM-3 with a total length of almost 4 km (3.6 billion tenge) will be carried out. Thanks to this work, it is planned to connect new residential buildings, social institutions and small and medium-sized businesses. This will cover more than 2 thousand people.
"The remaining 1.8 billion tenge will be used to reconstruct 4.3 km of intra-quarter heating networks in Aksu, located in microdistricts #3,5 and 8. Over the past two years, over 40 breakages have occurred in these areas. Reconstruction will provide quality heat supply to more than 1.5 thousand local residents,” - said the press service of the Prime Minister.
According to the Akimat of Pavlodar region, today the length of heat supply networks in Pavlodar is 828.1 km (average depreciation - 82.8%), in Ekibastuz - 422.5 km (90.7%), in Aksu - 99.1 km (59%). According to the results of technical survey for emergency works were identified four sites with the highest level of wear and tear.
Earlier, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov signed a resolution on allocation of 3.4 billion tenge from the reserve for further modernization of Ekibastuz CHPP: overhaul of boiler units and construction of clarified water main.
In addition, in preparation for the upcoming heating season, 16 billion tenge is directed to modernize heat sources Kentau, Ridder and Kyzylorda, more than 2.4 billion tenge - for the overhaul of heating networks Ridder and 816 million tenge - for the repair of boilers Kokshetau.
